Prior to establishing his own practice, Neukomm was a founding partner of the renowned New York-based SPAN Architecture. One of the studio’s defining strengths is its integrated approach to architecture and interior design. Earlier in his career, Neukomm worked closely with British minimalist master John Pawson, delivering residences for influential figures in fashion and design, including Calvin Klein, as well as projects for hotel visionary Ian Schrager. He also led the design of The Core Club, one of New York’s most prestigious private members’ clubs.
